Turquoise Horse Choker/Necklet This black cord & beaded choker/necklet features a distinctive pewter diamond cut horse pendant surrounded by stabilized* turquoise beads. Pendant measures 2.75cm x 2cm. Choker length adjustable from 42cm to 46cm. There is also the option of having the heart horse pendant, as in the earrings below. There are also matching earrings available: Heart or Oval. *This turquoise is soft and porous when mined. To make it suitable for jewellery use, it is permeated with a clear resin. This 'stabilization' process hardens the turquoise, darkens its color, and makes it resistant to common chemicals such as swimming pool chlorine. With this process, chalk turquoise can be hardened enough to be carved into these beads.
